The National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) made available on October 20, the digital version of Geographical Indications Map in Brazil, the edition 2016, in a scale 1: 5,000,000, representing 49 areas recognized by the INPI until July 2016.
This is one of the products derived from the Technical Cooperation Agreement signed between the two institutes, in order to represent cartographically the production and supply of Brazilian service areas that have the registration granted by the INPI.
